Technical specificationsThe new drying tunnel is the excellent result of a project involving the company and the end-users. The main aim of introducing to the market a new drying tunnel was to satisfy an increasing demand of reduced energy consumption.

This new drying tunnel incorporates a high degree of control precision and flexibility of use with strict criteria aimed at reducing energy consumption.

The internal design of the tunnel guarantees a perfect distribution and uniform temperature of the air that is blown on the item, while its external insulation avoids heat dispersion. This means that the dryer can reach the same working parameters in terms of inside temperature and volume of circulated air with a lower energy requirement.

It is designed according to a new concept of hot air accumulation, where the air is prepared and mixed before being sent to the item. Each compartment is equipped with four fans for a perfect mixing of fresh and recirculated air; its sending to the blowers can be partitioned by means of rolling shutters, thus allowing the user to tap the desired quantity of it. It is possible to continuously adjust both the air flow rate on the upper and lower surface of the item to be treated, and the relative dynamic pressure which blows on the surface of the item itself.

In cases of emergency, the entire flow of hot air is diverted away from the item, and thus remain inside the tunnel without risk of damaging it. Once the problem is removed, the line can be restarted under the same settings and working parameters, without any need to reset them. The hot air is hence immediately available at the same temperature level it had before the stop.
