SONNY’S Elephant Ear Dryers

You need a compact blower that dries the

side of a vehicle from the wheel to the top of the highest SUV.

Problem SONNY’S Elephant Ears are the ideal primary side drying solution for short tunnels as well as a perfect finishing dryer

for high volume locations. The motors are mounted off the ground to reduce corrosion and avoid recirculation of mist in the wash. Elephant Ears feature a scrolled housing and impeller design that produce a powerful 190MPH velocity at the discharge of each 15HP blower for more effective drying.

SONNY’S Wipe-O-MaticFor years, the primary consideration for installing an automatic chamois dryer was to replace manual finishing labor. Today, more and more operators are returning to these units to reduce electrical consumption. Chemistry improvements coupled with innovations in rinsing and blower placement such as SONNY’S Wet Environment Dryer, are able to leverage gravity and inertia to deliver a dryer surface. Under certain conditions and chain speeds, the Wipe-O-Matic is sufficient to replace some high horsepower blowers in a tunnel wash.

You need to improve drying performance to eliminate manual labor without excessively

increasing your utility bill with a large horsepower air drying system.

Problem SONNY’S Wet Environment Dryer delivers a simple solution. Outfitted with a wash-down duty

motor and steel impeller, it is engineered to install immediately after a low mist rain arch. As water hits the surface of the vehicle, a precise stream of air from the dryer displaces water from the surface immediately, before it has a chance to pool, with less required drying agent. Cars are dryer before they enter the drip space, therefore less power consumption is needed from your blowers to completely dry the surface of the vehicle.
