Drumming and your Team

A team-building workshop with One World Drum

Co. is filled with energy and, for some, a step out-

side the comfort zone. The workshop begins with a

brief introduction to the drum itself, where it comes

from, its traditions, the drum language, and how to

hit it so that you don’t hurt your hands! Each part

of the rhythm is learned separately and then you

will be split into groups, each with its own part to

play. When the parts are put together harmony is

created. Not unlike a team at work, each person has

a vital role to play. The facilitator will speak about

leadership, communication, feedback, specializa-

tion, trust and passion. The rewards of committing

to a team, is the ability to achieve more in the col-

lective than we can individu-

ally, while recognizing the indi-

vidual.
