The Cost of the Trip, $120 includes accommodations for one evening, two snacks, dinner and breakfast at Tyrrell, lunch at Subway, swimming, three workshops, classroom activities, bus. Not Included: morning snack and lunch on departure day - accommodations & meals in the case of emergency the day we are scheduled to return

Medication Medication
Any children on medication :
- Needs to be kept with their teacher. - Please speak with your child's teacher -Medication must be dropped off the morning of departure with teacher. - Please put it in a ziplock bag with name labelled clearly on bag with the instructions in bag.

Departure: Normal arrival (8:10 AM) - Parents must drop off child in am, gear cannot go on
regular bus. Things can be dropped of in the learning commons and the students will head to their homeroom class
- Must bring bagged lunch and snack - Must bring all gear to the learning commons
Sleeping Sleeping
Sleeping with the dinosaurs Girls and boys will be "partially separated" Adult supervision throughout the night - teachers, parent volunteers, and site security. -talk with child’s teacher - we need volunteers (4 per class).

Getting lost or separated from the group: - adult supervisor - list of students in their small group, adult - head-count - -students will be instructed to ask an adult at the front desk - - told never to leave the building without supervisors
Fire: initial orientation to the site by site staff. Evacuation: - Edutour staff member takes group ATCO Tyrrell

(which will be shown during the review of emergency
exit procedures.)

Bus failure, delay, accidents:
- Follow bus driver's instructions - If there is a need to leave the bus; TIC will initiate emergency
fan-out - If delay is expected to be more than one hour, TIC will initiate
emergency fan-out and will keep Principal up-to-date. - TIC will check AMA Road Reports - Students and parents will be instructed to stay seated at all
times unless moving to washroom (we have a bathroom!)

At the pool: - STUDENTS WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO WALK, NOT RUN, AT ALL TIMES
ON DECK AND IN CHANGE ROOMS - The presence of the 2 lifeguards on deck . - Adult supervisors will be on deck and in the water while students
are swimming. - There will be supervision in change rooms before and after
swimming.

Code of Conduct Code of Conduct
Students are expected to comply the first time a request is made by any adult; behaviour expectations are consistent with those of a regular school day, as outlined in the school code of conduct. Adult will communicate what behaviour was inappropriate, student may be given a chance to change his/her behaviour and return to activity; if the behaviour issue is severe, or if attempts to support the student in altering inappropriate behaviour are unsuccessful, teacher or TIC will phone parent, who will be expected to pick up their child up at Royal Tyrell Museum at their own cost.
