Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer• Non-small cell lung cancer is the type of lung carcinoma which is

named based on the size they bare with.

Cisplatin

• This is the drug which is used to treat lung cancer, head cancer, brain tumors, etc…

• This drug is used in the chemotheraphic process of lung cancer treatment.

• This type of drug is not given as the raw pill, there are given to the patients in the form of injection.

• Some side-effects include nausea, tiredness, kidney damage, weakness, etc…

Carboplatin

• This is the drug given to retard the cancer cell growth.

• This is also the drug which is used in the cancer treatment.

• This is injected into the vein and there are several precautions to be undertaken to prepare the body for this drug.

• Hair Loss, Nausea, Taste Changes, mouth sores, etc… these are some of the side-effects of lung cancer.

Gemcitabine• If the surgical treatment goes in vein, this drug helps in the NSCLC

Docetaxel

Abraxane

• This is otherwise termed as Albumin-Bound Paclitaxel which is used in the chemotherphic treatment of lung cancer.

• Infections, vomitting, diarrhea, mouth sores, eye problems are some of the side-effects of this drug.
