The Emergency Spill Response Unit is an exciting new hazard and spill response concept for all industries that require a ready-to-go, fully equipped and self-powered unit for the protection of your work environment, people and equipment.

Each Emergency Spill Response Unit is custom built and supplied to suit your application, location and environment. This includes equipping the unit with the correct absorbents and PPE according to your type of spill risk such as Hydrocarbon, General Purpose or Hazchem to ensure your environmental compliance and duty of care requirements are met.

With your Emergency Spill Response Unit you will always be ready to “hook up and tow” knowing you are fully equipped for spill containment or as a first response command centre to minimise the damage and impact by an efficient spill response.

This unique concept is not just a spill trailer; for a larger scale emergency this unit is your first response command centre, allowing you to be on site with PPE gear to assess and contain the hazard and establish a communication centre with the on-board UHF. Further safety precautions on board include fire extinguishers, first aid kits, work flood lamps and even a water tank with hose.

Safety and protection of your respondersTo reduce risk of personal injury and for an efficient hazard response, the Emergency Spill Response Unit has been developed with a wide range of OHS features. From the ergonomic placement of tools and absorbents to a full range of PPE, first aid and traffic control products for visibility.

The safety features of this innovative unit continue at the front where platforms operated by braked winches requires no heavy lifting of the two 240L wheelie bins. Held by a ratchet brake and safety locking pins while in transit, the high capacity winches make light work of lifting full 240L wheelie bins full of contaminated material to remove for safe disposal. In the case of a hazard in poor visibility, the unit is fitted with telescopic LED work flood lighting, revolving lights and a vehicle safety flag is fitted to the roof. Solar panels and 240 Volt rechargeable points mean that the Emergency Spill Response Unit is self-powered and ready at all times.

Self-poweredsolar or chargeReady to go at all times, the Emergency Spill Response Unit is equipped with a 240volt plug in charging system as well as a 12volt solar charging system with a 120amp hour AGM battery. This battery can run the units lighting continually for up to 36 hours. This includes powering the telescopic LED work flood lighting, internal LED strip lighting and revolving mine bar lights for work in poor visibility.

Incident management command centreThe Emergency Spill Response Unit is not just a spill trailer. For larger scale emergencies this unit becomes your first response command centre. You have everything on board to safely assess, contain the hazard and establish a command centre with the on-board UHF to communicate to other responders with further requirements.

In addition to the command centre, at the rear of the unit shown is a switch box that controls the four 2.3m high telescopic extension work flood lights, revolving/strobe beacon, internal LED strip lighting and the electric fresh water pump system with 100 litre tank.
