Weighs ~3 poundsMade of:

• 100 billion Neurons – process and transmit information• 1-5 trillion Glial Cells – provides support

1. Adaptability (plasticity) – the brain changes constantly and grows new neurons potentially at all ages. It is influenced by our actions, experiences, and the environment.

2. Integration – brain structures compete and cooperate, the limbic system can be a gate keeper to learning.

3. Sophistication – the brain is highly complex.

NeuroSafe™ Drops have synergetic effects in different neurological disease states due to its repertoire of activity. NeuroSafe™ Drops directly act upon the Neurotransmitters & Neurons e.g., GABA so improve the cognition better.

NeuroSafe™ Drops has the following combination of ingredients:

Valerian ExtractLavandulla AngustifoliaMoschus (Musk)Crocus Sativus

Pharmacology:

◦ A possible mechanism by which a valerian extract may cause sedation is by increasing the amount of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter) available in the synaptic cleft.

◦ of valerian's historical use as a sedative, anti-convulsant, migraine treatment and pain reliever, most basic science research has been directed at the interaction of valerian constituents with the GABA neurotransmitter receptor system (Trauner et al. 2008). Valerian extracts and some of its constituents, mainly valerenic acid, appear to have some affinity for the GABA receptor. Benke et al. (2009) have described a specific binding site on GABA receptors with nM affinity for valerenic acid and valerenol, common constituents of valerian. Both agents enhanced the response to GABA at multiple types of recombinant GABA receptors.

◦Several animal and human investigations suggest anxiolytic, mood stabilizer, sedative, analgesic, and anticonvulsive and neuroprotective properties for lavender. These studies raised the possibility of revival of lavender therapeutic efficacy in neurological disorders.

◦lavender extracts inhibits glutamate-induced neurotoxicity and promotes anti-AchE activity enhancing the level of Ach in brain.

◦Lavender also is a strengthens of nervous system.

Moschus◦Musk has been tested in drug trials on healthy persons

(Jörg, 1825; Leeser, 1961 and Müller, 1995) and is believed to affect the nervous system, blood circulation and sex organs, and to have effects on psychic, sensory and motor functions.

◦Crocus sativus (Saffron)recent studies indicate Saffron’s potential as an anti-cancer agent and memory enhancer.

In a randomized, double blind study, 30 mg of saffron extract (in capsules) given for 6 weeks resulted in significant alleviation of depression compared to those on placebo, and did so without evident side effects.
