Dropped Objects Prevention

• Eliminate the hazard altogether by preventing employees from being in areas where materials can fall from above.

• Install toe boards to guard rail systems to reduce the chance an object is accidentally kicked or knocked to a lower level.

take on the job to reduce the chance of a dropped object and risk of injury.

• Add netting or canopy systems to prevent dropped objects from reaching a lower level work area.

• Regulate/restrict the number of tools used at height.

• Use of proper head protection.
