DESCRIPTION

A presentation for my Business Communications class, when prompted to convince others. Here, me and my team demoed to a hypothetical CMU IT board why they should use Dropbox as a file management tool for students and faculty in replacement of the current Andrew File System, (which in truth absolutely no one uses), if Dropbox hypothetically offered such a product for the education sector. Looking back on it in May 2012, I'm surprised that no cloud service provider has targeted the education market, as there are clear use cases for all kinds of students to utilize such a service. It's worth noting that Google has a strong grasp in Education with Google Apps for Education, and now that they just recently released Google Drive... This presentation was made and presented in March 2011. My PowerPoint skills have improved greatly since then. :)
