Driving our members’ success is behind everything we do at IHEA! • Bring new customers to members by organizing representation at international tradeshows including Germany’s ThermProcess and ITPS Americas. • Provide monthly executive economic report that help members assess market conditions and fine-tune their short and long range business plans • Access to technology leaders through presentations at regular IHEA events, which gives members a competitive edge

IHEA strives to provide a base of industry knowledge for our members and users in the industrial process heating industry by providing the following: • Conduct technical training and education for members and users of heat processing equipment through IHEA’s seminars, webinars, workshops and on-line courses

• Serve as an industry resource for those looking for process heating information

• Develop and revise the Process Heating Source Book with the US Dept. of Energy. • Maintain involvement in projects affecting the heat processing industry at the National Labs • IHEA’s Infrared Equipment and Induction Divisions teach end-users about these technologies, including their advantages and applications

Knowledge Base

IHEA Members are the authoritative voice for industrial process heating. Members are involved in a variety of activities and have strong relationships with government agencies and trade associations to help improve the industry and make it more progressive. • IHEA influences and helps develop standards that are in the best interest of IHEA members, their customers, the environment and the industry. IHEA has representation with standard-making organizations such as the National Fire Protection Assoc. (NFPA) and was the US lead on ISO TC244. • IHEA’s Government Relations Committee carries our voice to governmental agencies including: EPA, DOE, DOC, and more • IHEA members, who hold more than 100 US patents, are technology leaders • IHEA members provide content to the process heating industry’s technical publications. • Member company personnel have opportunities to participate as speakers at IHEA seminars, including the Combustion, Safety Standards and Codes, Induction and the Infrared Seminars

IHEA Membership Types

Any person, firm or corporation engaged in the manufacture and/or design of industrial heat processing equipment for sale on the open market is eligible to become a manufacturing member in the Association. The term industrial heat processing equipment is determined by the Board of Directors.

MANUFACTURING MEMBER Benefits:

MANUFACTURING MEMBER First Year Dues: $2,000 MANUFACTURING MEMBER Dues After First Year:Annual Dues are calculated based on annual revenues. Revenues are defined to mean all process heating revenues that a given Member Company derives from the business activities of its collective operations in North America. This includes all goods and services accounted for from your North American corporate profit centers that result from being sited either inside or outside North America.

After the first year of membership, dues are $3,000 plus .0002 times those revenues over $3,000,000 ($200 per million), but not exceeding $8,500 per year.

COMPANY DIVISIONS: For companies with multiple divisions, the primary company membership dues will be $8,500 and each additional division/subsidiary is an additional $3,000 annually.

MANUFACTURING MEMBER

Any individual, firm, or corporation that provides a professional service to the industry in the area of engineering, education, publications, research and development, and related fields is eligible to become a professional service member in the Association. The term professional service is determined by the Board of Directors.

Any corporation actively engaged in the end use of industrial thermal process technologies. The term “corporate end user” is determined by the Board of Directors.

Any individual actively engaged in providing consulting services to the industrial thermal process technologies industry. This category is opened to consultants who are a one member LLC or sole proprietor. The term “consultant” is determined by the Board of Directors.
