Google used laser range finder it is also known as the heart of the driverless cars, they used the front camera, bumper mounted radar, Arial, ultrasonic sensors, GPS and their high-tech digital master to make this impossible thing possible.

2. Is it Safe? Sitting in the car with no driver, no steering and which is handled by an artificial brain can be risky, but according to a report Google has tested it over 300,000 miles of roads in various conditions without experiencing a single accident. That looks a bit trustworthy but still the automobile companies are criticizing it.

3. How fast a driverless car can go? Right now Google is the only manufacture of the driverless cars and they have the top speed of 25 km/per mile.

4. What about fuel efficiency? Mostly the fuel efficiency depends on how we drive a car like how efficiently we shift our gears and speed according to the conditions. So, if a car is operated by a computer then I think it can drive more smoothly and efficiently even Google has designed it to act more efficiently and smoothly as per the conditions.

5. Manufacturers of driverless cars? Google is the first and the only manufacturer of driverless cars but other companies are also conducting research and trying to get into the race.

6. Is there any state in the world which allows driverless cars?

Yes, the first state in the world is Nevada that allow drivers car on his roads.
