NORTH CENTRAL AUSTIN
Make a Donation to Drive a Senior-North Central while Shopping
Many of us order items on-line through Amazon. How would you like Amazon to make a donation of 0.5% of your purchase amount to Drive A Senior North Central with no extra effort? Next time you want to order something, go to smile.amazon.com, enter your email address and password as you've always done on Amazon. Then you need to select the charity to receive the donation: in the search field, type North Central Caregivers of Austin (they still have our former name). Select it from the list that comes up, and you're done! You'll get a confirmation email from Amazon Smile. You only need to select the charity the first time – it remembers the charity you selected after that, so you go straight to shopping. Then, whenever you shop at smile.amazon.com, Drive A Senior North Central will get 0.5% of your Amazon purchases. Amazon Smile has the same selection of items and the same prices as Amazon.
As a non-profit organization, we are continuously seeking public participation. We interact locally as well as beyond
our city limits reaching out and soliciting donations to fund our operation that enables us to serve seniors in our
community. Drive a Senior North Central receives monetary support from individuals, churches, businesses, various
grants and fundraising events. A gift in any amount and in any way sums up to actively caring for our senior neighbors.
We invite you to join us in any of our fundraising events, reach out as a member of our supporting congregations, be a
merchant that donates a raffle prize, or an individual who contributes time, talents, a token.
Please visit the Drive a Senior website driveasenior.org and the North Central page listed under Areas Served and see
what you can do.

THE DECEMBER 2014 CHRISTMAS CHORAL BENEFIT BUSINESS DONORS
MAY BASKET BAGS
Each year Drive a Senior North Central board members and volunteers collect various items and pack them into a colorful bag decorated by school children from churches in North Central Austin. May Bags, or traditionally known as "May Baskets" - a small basket holding a gift (as of flowers or candy) hung at the door of a favored person on May Day, are carried to each North Central client. The personal delivery of these “May baskets” opens the door to a home visit that brightens our members day!
