TESTING CENTER POLICIES

Students must present a valid government-

issued ID. See exam details for specific ID

requirements

Textbooks, calculators, exam materials, cell

phones, electronic devices, weapons, bags,

food and beverages and any other personal

items are not permitted inside the testing room

without written permission from the instructor or

exam provider. Lockers are provided to

securely store belongings while taking exams

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the

exam instructions are sent to the test center

Students are not permitted to leave the building

while a test is being administered

Please be aware that students are monitored

via video and audio surveillance. Proctors

conduct physical walk-throughs every 30

minutes and follow exam instructions to ensure

tests are administered correctly and securely

All acts of behavioral misconduct, cheating or

any issues that arise during exams are handled

by our test proctors as directed by WBU testing

policy and exam instructions

Students running late for an exam should notify

our testing center at (808) 488-8570. WBU

Testing Center charges a $10 fee to students

who arrive 15 minutes late without notification

or rescheduling an exam after the scheduled

appointment time

**Accuplacer offers placement exams that evaluate students’ skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. For more information visit: www.accuplacer.org

Castle exams are computer-based certification and licensure exams. To register, schedule, and pay for the exam, visit: www.castleworldwide.com

**CLEP is an exam-for-credit test developed by College Board. To register and pay for the exam visit: clep.collegeboard.org

**DSST offers exam-for-credit tests that are evaluated by the American Council on Education. Students pay for the exam at the testing center. For more information visit: getcollegecredit.com

Praxis exams test teacher candidates’ knowledge and skills for the purpose of licensing and certification. To register, schedule and pay for the exam, visit: www.ets.org/praxis

**Proctored Exams are non-WBU tests 1. Students must request that their home institution send a “Proctor Verification” form to hitest@wbu.edu 1. Once our WBU proctor is approved, students can call the testing center to schedule their exam appointment
