Millennium Business Centre Bucharest – Rehabilitation project The building is 75 m tall, 4 basements and 20 superstructure

levels with a total area of 19500 m2; The strength structure is executed with European wide flange

beams and “Malta” cross sections for columns;

Duties: Modelling the strength structure, designing and optimising the

damping system using nonlinear viscous dampers (same system used in TORRE MAYOR building from Mexico City);

Accomplishing the optimisation of damping system through advanced analysis: nonlinear static analysis (PUSHOVER) and nonlinear dynamic analysis (TIME-HISTORY);

Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications;

Developed and implemented special details for reinforced concrete and steel elements;

Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.

Catalytic cracking reactor’s steel strength structure – Rehabilitation project (2011-2012) The strength structure is 43 m tall and has 2x1 bays of 6.05 m and is

entirely executed with American wide beams (the structure was raised in year 1965);

This second rehabilitation project was needed because the beneficiary wants to change the existing reactor technology with a new one and the Romanian standards and normative changed radically in the last years;

Duties: Modelling the strength structure, designing and optimising the reinforcing

system using buckling restrained braced frames (beside this I have studied several systems like: nonlinear viscous dampers, base isolation with lead rubber bearings and friction pendulum bearings);

Accomplishing the optimisation of rehabilitation system through advanced analysis: nonlinear static analysis (PUSHOVER) and nonlinear

dynamic analysis (TIME-HISTORY); Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Developed and implemented special details for reinforced concrete (in

foundations) and steel elements of the strength structure.

“Masca” Theater from Bucharest – Expansion project The building is 12 m tall, 1 basement and 3 superstructure levels with a total area of 2000 m2; The strength structure is executed from reinforced concrete;Duties: Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.

Transport elevator for materials and people in a battery of silos – Steel strength structure project The structure is 40 m tall and is executed entirely with European wide flange beams.Duties: Modelling, designing and optimising the strength structure according to Romanian standards and

normative in force; Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.

Residential and comercial buildings in Bucharest (over 10 projects) The strength structures are executed from reinforced concrete, some of them are framed structures

some are shear wall structures.Duties: Modelling, designing and optimising the strength structure according to Romanian standards and

normative in force; Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.

Vaslui Municipal Stadium – Canopy steel structure

The structure is 12.75 m tall, 84 m length; 24.5 m span steel truss console sustained by 1 line of composite columns and is executed entirely with European wide flange beams.

Duties: Modelling, designing and optimising the strength structure according to Romanian standards and

normative in force; Modelling, designing and optimising using FEM software the execution joints; Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Developed and implemented special details for reinforced concrete and steel elements. Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.

Residential houses in Rosia Montana – rehabilitation projects (over 10 projects) The strength structures are executed from wood frames or masonry walls and all of them have wood

roofs.Duties: Modelling and designing the strength structures and roofs according to Romanian standards and

normative in force; Development of drawings, technical memorandums and technical specifications; Prepared and provided technical specifications and tender documents.
