I chose to use a black background in this magazine advert because the white words stand out more as they’re contrasting colours.

I decide to use the word ‘Dazzling’ to describe the magazine advert because this emotive language will give the sense this is a good album; this will attract the audience to buying the album. The exclamation mark will help emphasize the debut album.Also this font is larger that the rest of the font because this is announcing the debut album; it shows importance.

I decided to use the same font as the album to make this magazine advert look more professional and clear.

I decided to make the background of this text white with black writing so it can be more clear that the album is out now to purchase online and in stores.

I decided to include the image of the album so the audience can see what the album looks like. This makes the poster look more interesting and eye-catching. I also added images of popcorn and drink. I did this to give the audience a cinema feel when they look at the poster. I also added the logo of the record label and iTunes so the audience can know you can purchase the album on iTunes and what record label the band are from.

I chose to use the background of a theatre in this magazine advert because the album name is ‘Cigarettes In The Theatre’ and I thought a theatre background would be perfect to emphasize the name of the album. Also as the writing is white, the word won’t be as clear as I decided to put a black outline to help make it more clear.

I decided to use the words ‘Kitsune presents’ to announce the debut album because it gives a feel that the audience reading this are watching a play at the theatre as this is what would be said before a play starts. This will also emphasize the album name ‘Cigarettes In The Theatre’ attracting the audience to buying the album.
