Development kit availability:
Development kit yang tersedia adalah evaluation kit dari chipset FPGA yang di gunakan, tidak spesifik untuk LTE system.
Devlopment menggunakan chipset altera tidak recommended, mengingat banyak komponen lain yang di butuhkan.

Xilinx bekerja sama dengan wintegra dalam mebangun LTE system.

Conclusion:
Xilinx menawarkan solusi lengkap, namun sifatnya partial untuk chipset yang di gunakan dan system software yang di gunakan.
Development posibility: kemungkinan bisa di aplikasikan, namun tingkat kesulitan cukup tinggi karena system yang di gunakan lebih dari satu chipset dan beberapa software yang harus di gabungkan.

The complete RRH solution will be made available in UMTS /LTE versions supporting OBSAI and CPRI optical interfaces in 2009-2010.

Jika menggunakan product dari interphase atau menggunakan xilinx-wintegra dan mindspeed, software enobeB dari aricent telah include di dalam hanya tinggal masalah licensi dari software tsb. Sementara Freesacle tidak menyebutkan secara spesifik enodeB software yang di gunakan.
