Dr Thanakom wants his clients to feel comfortable with their choice before consenting to surgery and often his consulta-tions are lengtrhy. He encourages clients to do research on their desired surgical procedure before coming to Phuket and to be vocal about their desired outcome during the consultation. A certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon since 2003, Dr Thanakom has comprehensive experience. He specializes in breast surgery, body contouring and facial procedures, and his favorite surgical procedures are breast augmentation and breast lifts.

Dr Thanakom is the father of 3 daughters. He lives in Phuket, but frequently travels to other parts of Thailand and abroad. He is an avid bird photographer, a challenging skill that requires patience and expertise, and some of his photographs are famous in Thailand. As a lover of art, he finds that plastic surgery is also an outlet for artistry and he eagerly works to ensure that each of his clients are happy with the result of their surgery.
