ABOUT THE PROGRAM The Global Governance Summer School (G2S2) program is the inaugural academic program of the International College of Innovation at National Chengchi University(NCCU). The G2S2 is a 6-week, intensive, certificate-granting course designed for graduate and post-graduate students from around the world who are potential leaders and considered young experts in their fields. The scope of the program is broad enough that students from a wide array of interests will find value in participating in the program, but the focus on Asia enables students to develop specific understand-ing of a critical region. By using a rigorous, inter-disciplinary curriculum and recruiting high-caliber students, we will foster a community of growth and a collaborative cohort that is intended to result in research and produce new ideas.

Aside from the daily academic instruction, G2S2 participants will have the opportunity to pursue their own research agenda, attend professional development workshops, engage with leading scholars and experts, and enjoy unfettered access to NCCU’s expansive research libraries and institu-tions. Additionally, students will have access to the Chinese Language Center and be encouraged to study Chinese at any level.

Beyond standard academics, G2S2 academics and professionals will lead expert seminars. This will enable participants from all fields to engage at high levels and immerse themselves in the most pressing challenges facing various communities, including business, technology, humanitarian, security, and diplomatic fields.

Participants that complete all of the program requirements will earn a Certificate of Global Governance from NCCU.

We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to Taiwan.
