Govt. Of Haryana (Planning Department) sponsored Research Project of 2 years

duration. I worked on the Project as Deputy Programme Director, while Professor

R.P.Hooda (K.U.K.) was the Programme Director. Report on the project was

submitted to the State government in August 1991.

2. “New Farm Technology and Agricultural Indebtedness in Haryana”, An ICSSR

sponsored Research Project of 2 years duration, which was completed in February

1994. I worked on the project as Deputy Programme Director, while Prof. R.P.

Hooda (K.U.K.) was the Programme Director.

3. “Emotional Bank Account”: A case study of DCM Textile Hisar (1998). The

research project was carried out in 1998 to examine loyalty and commitment of

Employees in the company.

4. Performance Appraisal of Mutual Funds - A major research project of 2 years

duration sponsored by U.G.C. I worked on the project as Principal Investigator.

International Fellowship

Availed one month fellowship to visit MSH Paris under Indo-French Programme of

Cooperation for Exchange of Social Scientists. The visit was performed from 1to31

October, 2002 during which several top management institutes, universities, banks and

other institutions of France were visited.

A brief account of these visits is as under

i) Held conference with Dean, Faculty and students at INSEAD, ESCP-EAP, and

HEC, the three top Management Institutes of PARIS, having international repute.

ii) Held consultations with Professor Georges PRAT Director de Recherche au CNRS,

University Paris X Nanterre. He shares a common interest with me in terms of

research work on capital markets. In the same institution, I held consultation with

Dr. Remzi UCTUM Charge de Recherche au CNRS. He collaborates in research

with Prof. PRAT. I am in constant touch with them for collaboration and

consultations in research.

iii) Held conference with Bureau des structures agricoles (Ministry of Agriculture

France, PARIS) and thoroughly discussed Management of Agri-business and

agriculture in India and France.

iv) Held conference with Director Communication at Federation National Du Credit

Agricole (Apex bank for agriculture credit and counterpart of NABARD in India).

The subject of discussion was comparative agriculture credit systems management in

India and France

v) Delivered special lecture to Faculty and Ph.D. students at Institute of Agriromique,

Paris on the “Post: Green Revolution – Agri-Management in India”.

Appointed Visiting Fellow under UGC Teacher Exchange programme at Sardar Patel

University, VallabhVidya Nagar, Gujarat.

Contribution to Curriculum Design

I have been constantly contributing to and playing a key role in designing course

Curricula for University level management programmes. This I did as Chairman of

PG Board of studies and Faculty, and member of Academic Council of the

University. I have been the coordinator of a state-level committee constituted at the

initiation of Department of Technical Education, Haryana (2003-04) to update

management curricula in the state universities. The courses so designed were

implemented in the Universities and Management Institutes of the state.

Workshop Conducted Abroad

Workshop on Research in Business for the faculty members of the Royal Institute of

Management, Thimphu, Bhutan, 14-17 Nov. 2006 ( A residential program organized at

Wangdue, Bhutan by the RIM for the Faculty and the same was attended by 30 faculty

members including the Director of the institute).
