We will transform teacher preparation by fostering an outcomes-oriented culture that will:

◦ Reward the good – give top tier programs funds to expand Teaching Fellowship programs for exceptional students.

◦ Improve the middle – provide programs with useful data about graduates’ performance, disseminate best-practices, and invest in minority-serving institutions.

◦ Boost the low performers – establish rigorous standards and measures to identify and offer support to the lowest performing schools, and close those that do not improve.
