Where does my donation for lunch go?
All of your donations are referred to as “Project Income”. What this means to you is that everyone is
offered an opportunity to contribute a voluntary, anonymous donation
towards your meal.
The suggested $2.00 by no means covers the full cost of a meal. No consumer is to be denied a meal because he/she cannot make a
contribution. All donations collected are sent to the county in the full
amount of the donations collected to benefit this program.
In the 2015-2016 fiscal year, over 400,000 meals county-wide were served. Our center alone provided over 7,700 meals to our clients in
2016 .Your donations allowed us to make that possible.
Without your donations, we would have waiting lists for people to
receive meals and some would need to be turned away. Please help us to continue to provide hot, nutritious meals to everyone who comes to
our center.
Thank you for your continued support.
