BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys or Beyond the Scene) is a  South Korean boy group established

under Big Hit Entertainment consisting of seven members: RM, Jin Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and

Jungkook. Debuting on June 13, 2013, the band  produce and compose their own tracks with

diverse genres of music such as Hip Hop, R&B, EDM, and various other styles. In their songs, they

like to address many personal topics via lyric such as mental health, self love/confidence, politics,

and even female empowerment. 

With a style like this, it's hard to question why to group has recently had a spike in international

popularity. Their latest EP Love Yourself: Tear (released on May 18th) sold over one million copies

within it's first week. Not only that but, the album dominated the iTunes Album Chart hours later,

claiming the No. 1 spot in over 65 different regions. They have also won multiple awards such as

Billboard's Top Social Artist, Radio Disney's Music Group, both IHeartRadio's Fan and Boy Band

award, and recently Teen Choice Award's International Artist and Fandom.

The boys have no means of stopping anytime soon, planning to release their last installment to

their Love Yourself  series on August 24th before kicking off their world tour only a day later on the

25th. As BTS slowly increase in  global  recomgnition and fame, they wish to remain humble and

user their music as a way to help others and spread meaningful messages..
