To celebrate the opening
of new properties in Hong
Kong I was engaged by
the Hyatt corporation
to conceptualize and
produce a one of a kind
event in the Cambridge
Hyatt.
“The Streets of Hong Kong”
in Boston by the Hyatt corporation
After checking in, guests
were directed down the
airplane gangway, at the
a smoke screen provided
mysterious intrigue as
guests stepped through
and found themselves on
the streets of Hong Kong.
Invitations were designed to replicate first class
airline tickets. Guests were greeted in the drive
up by uniformed “Sky Caps”, then led to the “First
Class” ticket counter for check-in
Hong Kong in Boston by the Hyatt corporation
The main street featured
costumed characters,
aromatic smoke, Hong
Kong street sounds,
food of all sorts and
even live chickens
walking about.
The end of the main street featured the
“Food Wharf” dramatic displays of Hong Kong
Chefs and foods.
The key Hyatt executive and
myself, at this stage I have
been awake for nearly 36
hours staging the event

Conceptualized, created and produced a Cystic Fibrosis event
“The Celtics Fashion Show by Yolanda”.
With a recreation of the Boston Common inside the ballroom.
Celtic’s players, wives and children
supported the event by modeling
the high end fashion, exclusive
clothing of Boston’s “Yolanda”.
Construction begins on the enormous stage
at Harvard Stadium.
Featured guests included the Boston
Symphony Orchestra,
Actor John Lithgow, icon Walter
Cronkite and many other Boston and
Harvard University dignitaries.
With the return of “La Cage’
to Broadway, with Gene
Barry
in the lead, an appropriate
celebration
was called for.
The Grand lobby of the Pan
Am building
was secured, then with
scenic elements
designed by Louis Mesina
and lighting by
Jack Ingram the opening
night of “La Cage”
was toasted in true New
York fashion.
