Themed events highlights

To celebrate the opening

of new properties in Hong

Kong I was engaged by

the Hyatt corporation

to conceptualize and

produce a one of a kind

event in the Cambridge

Hyatt.

“The Streets of Hong Kong”

in Boston by the Hyatt corporation

After checking in, guests

were directed down the

airplane gangway, at the

a smoke screen provided

mysterious intrigue as

guests stepped through

and found themselves on

the streets of Hong Kong.

Invitations were designed to replicate first class

airline tickets. Guests were greeted in the drive

up by uniformed “Sky Caps”, then led to the “First

Class” ticket counter for check-in

The main street featured

costumed characters,

aromatic smoke, Hong

Kong street sounds,

food of all sorts and

even live chickens

walking about.

The end of the main street featured the

“Food Wharf” dramatic displays of Hong Kong

Chefs and foods.

The key Hyatt executive and

myself, at this stage I have

been awake for nearly 36

hours staging the event

Entertainment included

Hong Kong themed artist,

musicians, and a Pops

style orchestra.

Conceptualized, created and produced a Cystic Fibrosis event

“The Celtics Fashion Show by Yolanda”.

With a recreation of the Boston Common inside the ballroom.

Celtics coach Casey Jones and

wife working the room with the

big band.

Celtic’s players, wives and children

supported the event by modeling

the high end fashion, exclusive

clothing of Boston’s “Yolanda”.

Worked as Producer/Production Manager for Harvard 350th Celebration

Construction begins on the enormous stage

at Harvard Stadium.

Featured guests included the Boston

Symphony Orchestra,

Actor John Lithgow, icon Walter

Cronkite and many other Boston and

Harvard University dignitaries.

With the return of “La Cage’

to Broadway, with Gene

Barry

in the lead, an appropriate

celebration

was called for.

The Grand lobby of the Pan

Am building

was secured, then with

scenic elements

designed by Louis Mesina

and lighting by

Jack Ingram the opening

night of “La Cage”

was toasted in true New

York fashion.
