Young Indians of Confederation of Indian Industry has come a long way since its inception.
It is indeed a pleasure to write to these vibrant Young Indians of Hyderabad Chapter.
As Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh, I was delighted to understand and work with Young
Indians, Hyderabad Chapter closely. My associations with Yi, made me feel younger and
energetic to do something for the society and the economy. I'm glad to note that Yi
Hyderabad has done several programmes in this regard. I would like to extend my
appreciation to Rishabh and his team of office bearers for dedicatedly fulfilling their
responsibilities. I understand Yi under his able leadership has taken several good
initiatives in the last year. It gives me immense pleasure to see that the good work done by
the Young Indians in Hyderabad is being appreciated by other chapters as well as by the
National leadership. Infact, to increase the activities in the zones is one of my tasks as the
Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh.

My Dear Fellow Young Indians,
It has been a wonderful experience for me to lead the Yi Hyderabad Chapter over the last year. I look back with great
satisfaction at the achievements of the chapter over the past one year.
We had an exciting year with diversified learning activities and some great social events. We have also tried our best
to make the chapter events more interesting and educative for our members. We have organized 17 events last year
including our flagship event “Project Blackboard” which is being replicated by all the chapters.
I would like to thank our 4 nets and SSN Engineering College, Ongole in particular for doing activities which have
made a visible impact in their region and winning the 3rd Best Net award nationally. Once again our Nets have made
the chapter proud at the National level.
Overall 2010 has been a year of consolidation and the beginning of many new initiatives. These achievements would
not have been possible without the active participation of all Yi Stakeholders – Executive Committee members, Yi
members, Yi student Nets, Yi Executive member, Yi National and several other organisations that have been actively
involved with Yi over the years.
Rohit, has been a pillar of support and I would like to thank him personally for his involvement in each and every
activity over the year. I would also like to thank the entire EC specifically Nirav, Guru, Siddharth, Amish, Sowmya, Kapil,
Ashish, Mirank and Madhusudan without with all this would not have been possible. I would also like to specially
thank Chandan who has made all this possible.
My sincere thanks to Yi National Chairperson Ms Bhairavi Jani, Vice chairman Mr Shankar Vanavarayar and the
Yi National Governing Council for their support throughout the year.
A special thanks to Mr S Kannan, Director & Head of CII Andhra Pradesh and the CII Secretariat for driving all our
activities.
I wish all the very best to the new leadership team. I am sure Yi Hyderabad will continue to strive towards its goal of a
better future and a progressive nation.
Together “We Can and We Will”.
