The Data Map
• Antti Poikola has collected information about what kind of data the city is processing
• City of Helsinki has close to 1 000 databases to maintain• Metadata about the databases is enriched by keywords
and transformed to a visual representation, the Data Map• Can be used as a tool to analyse and compare cities • What kind of information cities need to be able to
operate? How are those databases organised? How does that reflect to the organisational structure of the city?
