Being introduced to coding gives students an appreciation of what can be built with tech-nology. We are surrounded by devices controlled by computers. Understanding how they work, and imagining new devices and services, are enhanced by understanding coding. Students and teachers were introduced to coding, robotics, and virtual reality during the Digital Learning Days held on February 15-16. The excitement was shown on all the faces as the stu-dents experienced Coding with Osmo, Coding with Swift Playgrounds, Virtual Reality using Google Cardboard, PlayDoh Touch Shape to Life Studio, and the BB-8/Sphero robots.
