maintenance involved in Industrial Electronics (process control, service), Power, etc initial conversation, stressed longevity of employees team of 3-4 technicians who are increasingly familiar with turbine; Good reviews

WINDSHARE BOARD REPORT Technical and ProductionTechnical and Production Operational Incidents
In July 2005 McDowell Electric performed annual maintenance with assistance from Bettink engineer from Netherlands and Ed Hale. Bettink also provided services to two other turbines in the province.
Sept. Air Show. Fire/Police asked us to shut down the turbine on very short notice. Due to miscommunication and unfortunate timing, the substation was powered off and it took a few days to restart.
October: Blade Angle fault – significant down time November: Battery failure

WINDSHARE BOARD REPORT Options for ExpansionOptions for ExpansionMajor factors contributing to turbine profitability: Wind regime
(T2 at CNE would be no better than T1) (Another location along the harbour - probably no better)
Turbine efficiency -bigger capacity is better (T2 restrictions same as T1) (Another
location along the Harbour - Could probably go bigger) -cost efficiency (bigger capacity is better)
