HOW THE PROGRAMMER SEES THE USER:
…a good programmer sees
…an average programmer sees
…the most of programmers see
…they just write the code
When the user sees a blonde in red…
…programmers see something like that
PROGRAMMERS CREATE A PRODUCT TO…
… make everything unified
…to give the user an ability to do «everything he needs»
…to keep all the data on the same page an do everything at once
…the structure of code is a priority
THE PROGRAMMER FORGETS THAT…
…he is not the only user of their system
… the user knows the system a little worse then the programmer does
…the user knows nothing about programming
…and about computers in some cases
…the user has a real task he needs to solve
… most users don’t need most features
…the users never read the manual
…there are a lot of UI patterns. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel
THE PROGRAMMERS ARE SURE THAT…
…if the user makes a mistake it is a fault of this user only
…the development stops on the day of release
SO, WHY?…
…Because they live in different worlds
