Every morning both Sniff and Scurry put on their jogging shoes and suits left there little homes and raced out into the maze looking for their favourite cheese. Sniff and Scurry used the simple trial and error method of finding cheese. They ran down one corridor and if it is found empty they turned and ran down to another. Like the mice the two little people Hem and Haw also used their ability to think and learn from past experiences. However, they believed on their complex brains to develop more methods for finding a cheese.

It was no long before; each of them established their own routine. Sniff and Scurry; to wake up early every day and race through the maze to enjoy cheese. While Hem and Haw wake up little late, dressed, took a little slower and walked to cheese station ‘C’. After all, they know where the cheese was and how to get there. But, didn’t have any idea where the cheese comes from, they just assumed it would be always there. After some time, little people’s confidence grew into over confidence. As the time ran on Sniff and Scurry continued with their routine, they arrived early each morning, inspecting the area to see if there had been any changes from the day before.

One morning they arrived at cheese station C and there was no cheese, they were not surprised since they have noticed the supply of cheese had been getting reduced day by day. They were prepared for the uncertainty. The mice did not over analyze things. For them problem and answer both were simple. The situation at cheese station C had changed and so they decided to change. They were quickly on their way to search for new cheese. Later, that same day, hem and haw arrived at cheese station ‘C’. because, they had not been paying attention to the small changes that had been taking place each day.

Hem roared what! No cheese? And he yelled who moved my cheese? While haw just shook his head in doubt, they stood there for a long time. Because cheese was important to them, they spent a long time to decide what to do but all they could think of was to keep looking around cheese less station ‘C’. while sniff and scurry moved to their way.

Every day, two little people went home hungry and discouraged. Hem has his own opinion that because they were little people, they are spe-cial and entitled to cheese. While haw started believing and realized the difference between activity and productivity and eventually haw moved out with his running shoes to find out new cheese thinking what you would do, if you are not afraid of new opportunities. Ham, on the other hand was still at cheese station ‘C’. Thinking that cheese will re-appear. On the other side, haw came out from his com-fort zone and decided to change sooner. Haw and ham both were be-coming weak day by day. Haw smiled a weak smile as the thought. Better late than never. After several days of search, haw found a little cheese here and there but nothing that lasts for very long. As time went on, he began to wonder if it was realistic for him to expect or to find new cheese. Later, he real-ized that the cheese at cheese station ‘C’ had not just disappeared overnight. As he had once believed. Finally, haw came cross huge cheese station but when he went inside, it was empty. As he again started running down the dark corridors he be-gan to smile.

Haw proceeded with a corridor that was new to him, rounded a corner and found new cheese station ‘N’, where he found greatest supply of cheese he had ever seen. Haw finally got to know: Life moves on and so we should too Noticing small changes early, helps you adapt to the bigger changes that are to come. Lessons: 1. Humans have complex brains, thus we over-analyze and complicate things. 2. Humans are resistant to change which leads rigidity of mind and ac-tion. 3. Do observant change, when little changes begin, one must better pre-pare oneself for a big change because if one doesn’t change one can be-come extinct.
