• Gunshot Residue (GSR) is released when firing a firearm
made of organic and inorganic compounds.
• Increasing pressure to remove heavy-metals from
ammunition due to environmental concerns.

We swap a UTS student with a student from our exchange partner
universities overseas
You remain enrolled at UTS but take classes overseas
You must gain credit towards your degree for your study overseas

Academic Requirements
Students must achieve a minimum weighted average mark of 60 and
not fail more than 10% of attempted credit points (cp)*
Must have completed 48 cp for UGs (1 yr) and 24 cp for PGs (0.5 yr)
Most easily arranged for Science students using electives
*Other conditions apply depending on the faculty and partner university
Language Requirements
Most partners teach in English
Students can study in another language, provided
they attain UTS Level 8 language proficiency
