HOMEWORK FOLDER
This is a DAILY communication between school and home.
Unfinished papers &/or assigned homework will be inside.
When we sign it, all needed papers are inside as noted.
Parent initials are required each day.
There will be a daily reward for bringing it back signed.
Folders are due back the following day with completed assignments inside.
A = all assignments were finished that day.
Weekly Homework Packets will be given out on Mondays.
Daily Behavior level will be written on the chart.
CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR LEVELS
o Each day, students will begin at READY TO LEARN.
o Students can move up levels for positive behavior.
o They will move down levels for negative behavior.
o At the end of each day, the behavior level will be listed on the Homework Folder Chart as shown on the illustration to the left.

DAILY HOMEWORK EXPECTATIONS
Reading:20 minutes per day.
Give a retell or summarize what was read to a parent or another adult each day.
Parent signs the Reading Log for each completed day, on the weekly homework packet cover.
Assignments:Math and Language Homework pages will come home in the weekly packet, and must be returned on Fridays (unless otherwise noted).
Any unfinished activities from class time need to be completed and returned the following school day.
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
Home Helper Folder:
-Sent home once a week.
-Papers to grade inside.
-Send back with your student.
Major Benefit: Know what concepts are being taught on a regular basis.
