Minimum requirements include: a bachelors degree in land use planning, urban plan-ning, public administration or closely-related specialized program. One year of experi-ence in economic development and / or municipal planning, a valid driver’s license withsatisfactory driving record and knowledge of computers and software.
Desirable Training and Experience include: greater practical experience in commu-nity based planning, annexation issues, and economic development programs and activ-ities including specific work with private and public sources of financial assistance.Knowledgeable and proficient in GIS related software applications, information data-bases and technologies.
The hiring wage for this position is anticipated to be between $43,077 and $55,191plus benefits.
