There will be no Frantom Trophy for the 1970 Shol,v. Instee.d, HigbJatld. Park will present a Trophy for Cabochons. There will be an O'Brien Trophy (for a :B'a~eted Stone); the Taylor Trophy: (for a case of Faceted. Stones); and. the In-::-ra-V1c'let Trophy (fOT Fluorescents) .

beca;use their aged dog was ill and they had to take it to the Vet. Sorry they had to put it to sleep.
Dave Bickerdyke is going to make some markers for the 1970 Show. Each pillar in the grandstand will have a letter marked on it for use i.n d1recting people to different locat.ions .in the building. Dave also drew a map to show where the Hilton Is in relation to the Fairground so that people will have no trouble finding their way to tbe Hilton Headquarters and the Awards Banquet. That's a good fellow:
IJouise Palmer met with Martha Peters ancl made plans for the decoraUons which will be used for the Awards Banquet. If the plans work out, you will have a pleasant surprise. All we (;an tell you now is that they will carry out both the Socjety' s Y'mblera and the Show Theme (Gold tN Gems), There is a possibility that they may be for sale as :'hey just might be useful ,We f1.1 see.
