Deep Relationships.Forward inking. And not just one lawyer, a team.Miles & Stockbridge P.C. welcomes the 12 talented lawyers who
joined our Tysons Corner, Virginia, office over the last year, with a
focus on business litigation, products liability defense, intellectual
property, corporate, government contracts, real estate, and creditors’
rights/bankruptcy matters. They join a team of more than 220
lawyers across our firm’s eight mid-Atlantic offices.
PUBLISHER’S NOTEVirginia Lawyers Weekly is pleased to present its 2014 survey of “Virginia’s Largest Law Firms.”
As in years past, we have ranked law firms in the commonwealth by the number of Virginia-licensed lawyers working inoffices located within Virginia.
Starting on page 3, you’ll find the traditional “Top 75” list, naming the biggest law firmsacross Virginia, along with the number of lawyers at each firm.
The survey includes other information, such as location(s) of offices and phone numbers. Some firms took the opportunity to purchase an enhanced listing with additional information, such as the firm website, areas of practice, firm contacts and othersignificant data.
Most of the information appearing in the survey was provided by officials at the firmsthemselves in response to our requests. For non-responding firms, we have relied on thefirms’ websites to obtain the ranking info. Those firms feature an asterisk (*) after theirnames in the survey charts.
We greatly appreciate the participation and cooperation of all the firms that responded with their survey forms. We have made every effort to present complete rankings. If we have missed a firm, please advise us.

ABOUT THE DIRECTORY
The annual survey of “Virginia’s Largest Law Firms” is based on the number of Virginia-licensed lawyers practicing from an office located within the commonwealth.
This winter, using e-mail and making follow-up telephone calls, we solicited current in-formation from all the firms that appeared in the 2013 survey. Many firms respondedwith their 2014 data. For those that did not respond, we used the numbers from thefirms’ own websites. For those firms, the listing contains an asterisk (*) after the firmname.
All qualifying law firms in the survey were provided a basic listing in this booklet. Anumber of law firms took the opportunity to purchase an enhanced listing in the sur-vey booklet, adding information such as firm logo, firm website address, clients, firmcontacts and areas of practice.
In compiling the 2014 survey of “Virginia’s Largest Law Firms,”we have made every effort to provide complete and accurateinformation. If we have inadvertently left out a firm, or if the information listed is not correct, please contact:
