USING ELECTRICITY PROPERLY
☼ Electricity is used in running different electrical appliances in our homes. They make living easy and comfortable. Our body is an electric conductor and it allows current to pass through large enough to shock us or to kill us when our body is wet.
Tips to Follow in the Use and Conservation of Electrical Energy1. Pull out plugs of appliances when not in use
for a long time.2. Turn off the lights and other electrical
appliance when not in use.3. Avoid using several appliances all at the
same time.4. Use low voltage bulbs.5. Minimize use of flat iron. Iron you clothes
at spaced intervals.
6. A periodic check- up of electrical connections is necessary. Most fires occur due to faulty electrical wiring.
7. Avoid touching electrical appliances when you are taking a bath or when your hands are wet. You may be electrocuted.
8. Wear rubber slippers when handling an electric appliance. Rubber slippers prevent current to pass through our body.

12.The flat iron consumes a lot so electricity, so ironing should be done at spaced intervals.
14.Wear rubber slippers when switching on any electrical appliance.
15.Switch on the TV from morning until evening.
