Michael Martone and The Flatness and OtherLandscapes, which won the AWP Award for

creative nonfiction. The author of many shortstories and journal articles, Martone has

a distinctive style of writing that illustrates a lucid awareness of detail and the

process of writing itself.

Poet Cleveland Wall will be reading with Michael Martone.

the Bowery Poetry Club, home to a weeklypoetry slam called NYC-Urbana.

Kathleen Sheeder Bonanno Bonanno is author of a haunting book

of poems, Slaamming Open the Door, dealingwith the murder of her daughter. Reading

with Bonanno also will be the winner of theStan Heim/Louis Camp Bucks County

Community College Student Award in Poetry.

Dana RoeserRoeser, one of the most vital and

exciting poets currently writing, has been scheduled for the Women’s History

celebration. Her courage in her writing servesas an inspiration for many. Also marking thecelebration, students and staff will read from

their own work and the work of women writers.
