Terminal Learning ObjectiveAction: Process Captives Conditions: Your unit is in a field environment and you have enemy captives
that you must field process. You have assistant personnel, first aid supplies, communications equipment, field expedient materials, and DD Form 2745 (EPW Capture Tag), DA Form 4137 (Evidence/Property Custody Document), and DD Form 629 (Receipt for Prisoner or Detained Person).
Standard: 1. Each captive is treated humanely and processed IAW the five Ss and T method (search, silence, segregate, safeguard, speed and tag).2. Each captive is treated humanely IAW the provisions of the Geneva Conventions and U.S. Policy.3. All captives are quickly evacuated to a Military Police (MP) collecting point and/or holding area and/or Military Intelligence (MI).4. Documents, maps, overlays, unusual equipment, and other items of potential intelligence value found are secured and turned over to the nearest MP and/or MI personnel IAW local instructions.
