Revised Problem Statement
After weighing all the customer needs, the desired
electric toothbrush model needs to be above all portable,
then versatile, then user friendly, and lastly reliable.
These needs reflect the customer’s desire for a travel
electric toothbrush, not an advanced home toothbrush.

Technological Description

• 4 flat rechargeable batteries insure a long life between charges
Technical Description
Power transfer via rotating drive shaft from motor
Transferred through ball joint with a universal joint
Rotation is transferred 90 degrees with spider gears
A pin from the rear and outer edge of the gear hits lobes on the brush head creating brush motion
