Tiny minnows test water purity
Its nature and technology at its best. From afar, our water treatment plant looks fairly typical. Yet, after wastewater passes through a complex system of filters and
scrubbers, hungry microbes go to work removing pollutants, oil, and other by-products from refinery water. Once these microscopic workhorses have digested remaining
impurities, tiny minnows check the waters purity. Its an impressive partnership with nature and responsibility we take quiet seriously - day after day, year after year.*

THS Students Register to VoteBy Michelle Smith
Triumph students who were 18 and over joined Senior Advisor, Dr. Michelle Aldrich and Librarian, Sarah Horen to register to vote at the County Court-house last Tuesday. Students were briefed on what was on the ballot this year and what it meant to declare Republican, Democrat, or Independent when they reg-istered. It made me feel like an ofcial adult Ameri-can. Im going to watch the candidates a little more closely now so that I make an informed choice when it comes time to vote, said Maddie Amann, a senior at Triumph. Ten students completed the registration process and all agreed that the trip was a great learn-ing experience and they were glad that they got to do it as a group instead of on their own. It was great that the school took us to register. I dont have transporta-tion down there and I think a lot of us wouldnt have ever done it if we had to go do it on our own, Amann
stated. Dr. Aldrich has been taking students to registerto vote for over 15 years and plans to keep up the tradi-tion in the future.
Sarah Horen, Librarian, and Triumph students stop for a picture outside of the County Courthouse after registering to vote.
Former Triumph students ride the Angels Triumphant oat in the Cheyenne Christmas Parade.
By Maddie AmannStaff and students at Triumph High School are
proud to present The Angels Triumphant oat entry into the annual Cheyenne Christmas Parade. The oat will feature a heavenly scene, angels, many lights and lots of music.
We would like to have a large walking group be-hind our oat. Adult participants will be handed a battery-powered candle to hold in support of Triumph High School. Many sets of wings and halos will also be made available.
Triumph High School would like to invite all Tri-umph students and staff, as well as anyone who ever attended or taught at High School III, CBOE, or Tri-umph (or had children, parents, grandchildren, or grandparents who attended) to walk in the parade. Anyone in the community who supports Triumph is also welcome to join.
The Christmas Parade will being in downtown Cheyenne on Saturday, November 28th at 5:00 pm. Anyone who is interested in participating in the parade
should contact Kate Michel at Triumph High School,771-2500 or 631-3320, so parade directors can have anestimate of the group size. All participants need to be present by 4:15 pm to walk with our oat. For more information or any questions, contact Kate Michel.
Please come out and show your support and spirit!
