“HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT”
This term describessomething you are lookingat but couldn’t see.
LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING
1
Things are not always as they seem.
There are things right in front
of us we can’t see all the time.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:1818 So we fix our eyes not onwhatis seen, but on what isunseen, since what is seen istemporary, but what is unseen iseternal.
Lion’s eye: Born blind
blind spot
Spiritually, we all have ablind spot in our soulbecause of what happened toAdam and Eve in the Gardenof Eden.
GENESIS 3:4-54 “You will not certainlydie,” the serpent said tothe woman. 5 “For God knowsthat when you eat from ityour eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,knowing good and evil.”
ETERNITY BECOMES VISIBLE BY FAITH
2
2 CORINTHIANS 5:77 For we walk by faith, notby sight.
It gives night vision to our soul, so we can still see things clearly even in
the dark.
Lion’s eye:From blue-gray to orangey
brown
Second eyelid: clean and protect the eyes
NEARSIGHTEDNESS MUST BE CONSTANTLY
CORRECTED
3
ROMANS 10:1717 So then faith comes fromhearing, and hearing by theword of God.
We must constantly make the choice to not rely on the
naked eye.
The battle of the eye is fought through the ears.
If we don’t hear what He says,
we won’t see what He sees.
SEEING THE INVISIBLE,
WE CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE
4
When we let God give us vision that is super
natural, we will be able to receive strength that’s
super human.
Lion’s eye:Reflective coating at the back of the eye: 8 times better than the human eye
White patch of fur below the eye
HEBREWS HALL OF FAITH
HEBREWS 11:34-3534 (by faith)…subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtainedpromises, stopped the mouthsof lions, quenched theviolence of fire, escaped theedge of the sword, out ofweakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to fight the armies ofthe aliens.
CONCLUSION
We must look at life through the
right LENS which is Jesus, the King of all lions.
Nothing better we can do to turn off dark in life than let Jesus turn on light in
our life.
