Hi Everyone,
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and as we take 8me to give thanks for the many blessings we all have, it is 8me to think of those families less
fortunate. Tradi8onally we have asked our members to bring non-‐perishable food items to the November Luncheon. Grocery store giB cards are also accepted. These items will be taken to Daystar to be shared with those in need. Your generosity is much appreciated!
When you arrive at this month’s luncheon at Sugarmill Woods, there will be two gentlemen wai8ng to accept your dona8ons. Usually they park by the entrance to the dining room for your convenience. Whatever you can donate will be a huge help! I feel so pleased when I can help others and I hope you will, too.
Looking ahead to next month, I want to remind you all that our December Holiday Luncheon will be a brunch at Black Diamond. Be sure to give Bev Goethe your luncheon check early to reserve your place. Join in the fun star8ng at 10:00 a.m. In the spirit of giving and sharing, we encourage each member to bring a toy or giB for a child or teenager. These giBs will be given to the Citrus Resource Center to help brighten the holidays for those in need.
Now, let’s look forward to this month’s speaker—our very own Jan Hitchcock, who will talk to us about her experience publishing a children’s book. Who knows? It might inspire one of us to put our wri8ng skills to the test!
See you at the luncheon!Sharon
