Language Acquisition

Importance of the VCSL
• Can assist families and teachers when planning a language rich environment
• Reveals the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) for the child’s language learning
• Can recognize individual needs for children with additional disabilities (Autism, Down syndrome)
