There’s a new contest in Almaguin thisChristmas season looking for the merriest andbrightest homes.
The first ever ‘Let There Be Light’ AlmaguinNews Christmas Lighting Contest is coming togive elves more than bragging rights for the beston the block, but best in the district.
Entries for the best decorated home can bemade by emailing digital photos of your displayto [email protected], or by mailing ordropping off photos to the Almaguin News – nomore than two photos per entry and pleaseinclude the address and phone number.
Entries are being accepted from now untilDec. 14.
The winners will be announced in the Dec. 19edition of the Almaguin News, and a photo oftheir display published in the Dec. 26 edition.
Entries will be judged on overall appearance,creativity, effort and embrace of the holiday sea-son. The winners will be selected by theAlmaguin News editorial team.
First prize will be a $100 gift certificate fromMagnetawan Home Hardware and second prizewill be a $50 gift certificate from Collins’ Valu-mart.
