The Travel Convention is the UK travel industry’s flagship event; providing inspiration to delegates through an outstanding programme of content, with thought-provoking ideas to challenge the way they think and approach their business, as well as providing opportunities to network informally and socially with colleagues and industry experts.
The 2015 Travel Convention will take place at Costa Navarino, in the Greek region of Messinia in southwest Peloponnese.
AttendeesThe Travel Convention is attended by professionals spanning the full breadth of
the mainstream and specialist travel sector; from cruise lines, tour operators,
hotels and airlines, to all forms of travel retailer.
It is also attended by travel industry specialists, such as accountants, lawyers and
insurance providers; as well as those providing business knowledge and advice,
from technology providers to marketing experts.
The Travel Convention attracts around 30 travel journalists from the UK national,
consumer and travel trade press – more than any other UK travel industry
conference.
Numbers for this year’s Convention are anticipated to be around 500, providing
delegates with the optimum event and networking experience.

This year’s Travel Convention is taking place at Costa Navarino, an exclusive resort in southwest Peloponnese which has two luxury five star hotels, a Convention Centre, golf courses and many other activities on-site. ABTA has exclusive use of The Westin Resort Costa Navarino for delegate accommodation, which is attached to the House of Events where the business sessions will take place. As such, the Convention provides a captive audience throughout the three days of the event, presenting a fantastic opportunity for companies to promote their brand.
