Jaime began his career in the multifamily industry in April 1993 as a Groundskeeper where he recalls an immediate affirmation that he had found where he wanted to work for the rest of his life. Six months later, he was promoted to Make Ready Technician while simultaneously attending Houston Community College for HVAC and Refrigeration training to obtain the EPA Certification. Soon after earning his new certification, he was promoted to Maintenance Technician. During the two years following, he worked very close with his Maintenance Supervisor to learn as much as he could. It paid off, as he was elevated to to Maintenance Supervisor in June1997. He enjoyed this role as he realized he was able to help many people by providing great customer service. He stayed in this position for many years with Equity Residential until his Supervisor asked him to mentor new Mainte-nance Supervisors and train collegues in HVAC, basic electric, plumbing, pool care and appliance repairs through providing bilingual classes for each skill. In May 2007, he moved to Venterra Realty as a floating Maintenance Supervisor and the Regional Maintenance Manager. Jaime joined TDC in September 2011 at The Millennium Waterway as a Maintenance Supervisor. He mentions that he took this position because he wanted to work for The Dinerstein Companies and notes that this is by far the best company he has worked for in many years. Jaime and his wife, Mayra J. Canizales, will be celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary on May 8. Together, they have three children: Samuel, Saul and Janis. His hobbies include time spent with his children, going to the movies, and volunteering at his church.
