We greatly appreciate your input and time to ensure we continue to provide the best possible outcomes for your child. Skoolbag As previously advised, we have subscribed to use the Skoolbag Smartphone school to parent communication mobile App. This has been very well received by our community as Skoolbag is the ultimate school to parent communication tool. The School Mobile App provides us with an easy way to communicate with families and provides families with everything they need to know about school news, newsletters, events calendars, announcements, sick note forms, and much more. The Skoolbag School Mobile App allows us to use the service to send Push Alert Notifications directly to parent smartphones. If you haven’t already downloaded it instructions are further on in this newsletter. We will continue to add features to the app eg. Pictures over the next term to enhance our communications. We would like to make better use of this fantas-tic communication tool but we cannot rely upon it entirely until all parents have come on board.
Staffing Due to continuing ill health, Mrs Riggs will not be returning to teach 2/3R this year and Miss Alysha Collis will continue to maintain and instruct the class for Term 4. We wish Mrs Riggs well in her recovery. Mrs Redmayne is also taking Long Service Leave for family reasons and Miss Griffiths who teaches Yr 6, 3 days will be fulfilling a full time roll on Year 6. Both these young casuals come with a great depth of knowledge and eagerness in taking on these classes and we fully support them in their beginning journey into teaching fulltime here at Bonnet Bay.
Live life Well Program Our Live life well project which has been initiated and driven by Mrs Lynch and Mrs Clark has been very successful here at our school. The community support including the introduction of healthy eating in the canteen has assisted staff with motivating students to think about how a healthy life style affects us. The fitness program promoted and organised by these staff members has had students moving and grooving and impressed the Health Promotion Officer, Lisa Moorhouse from Live Life Well @ School so much that she is featuring our school in the NSW Health Services monthly newsletter. Way to go Bonnet Bay!!
Thank you for all your continual support of our school, staff and students. We have a fabulous learning community working as partners in education. Rest, rejuvenate and relax ready for another productive last term ahead. Stay safe and enjoy some special family moments, we will look forward to seeing you all back on deck in Term 4.

Peer Support Wrap – Week 10 In this week’s final session of the Peer Sup-port module ‘Promoting Harmony’ the chil-dren created a chatterbox, helping them re-flect on what they have learned over the past 7 weeks. They were reminded to reflect on their values and how they can demonstrate these to other people. Each Peer Support group were given the opportunity to cele-brate what they learned and the new friend-ships and connections they have made. We would like to take this opportunity to con-gratulate the Stage 3 leaders for the wonder-ful job they have done this year in leading our Peer Support Program in its inaugural year. We are very proud of all they have done in leading the students in K-4. We would also like to thank the students in K-4 for how they have embraced their Peer Sup-port lessons. What a wonderful supportive school we have at Bonnet Bay. Mrs Redmayne and Mrs Host
