When we say telemonitoring we mean using the internet to facilitate patient/physician interactions remotely.

Part 2 Telemonitoring devices and technology used today Remote monitoring devices for blood pressure and managing other chronic conditions Teledoctors Telephsychiatry Remote monitoring by high demand specialties in rural hospitals Online doctors to answer health questions immediately

Part 3 A case study- American Well technology deployed locally (American Well is a Boston based company that sells a web platform which allows patients and doctors to connect immediately and remotely) Review costs of deploying technology and investigate potential savings BlueCross BlueShield of WNY has deployed this technology-license to deploy includes high fixed and variable costs-economic analysis of these costs
