    Job Summary To serve as a single point contact for all the travel and hospitality related needs of the Accounts handled. To generate business and maximize revenues for all Taj hotels from the assignedportfolio To build strong relationship with the accounts in order to increase revenues andmarket share from these accountsA. Basic Responsibilities: Sales Related Prepare an Annual Individual Business Plan for each account To follow a strict sales calling pattern and ensure wide coverage of all accoun ts onportfolio To prepare and follow a strategic service plan for each account Taking ownership of companies which are head quartered in the city and proactivelyand aggressively soliciting business from the same Build relationships with business influencers within each account Maximize the Taj Share from the existing potential of the account Entertainment of guests/bookers Negotiating rates for each account, head quartered in the city, for all Taj Group Hotels. Ensuring that rates for each account are consistent on a national basis. Complaint handling and customizing service, catering to clients needs Acquiring new business by targeting competition users and shifting competition accounts, from within portfolio of accounts to ensure that all the business comes to

    the Taj GroupB. Coordination and Monitoring Communicate relevant information to all internal departments.     amenities, rates etc. Tracking trends. Close monitoring of technological, competitive, social,environmental, economic and demographic factors that bear upon customer needsand expectations.     A. Job Summary

    To ensure the timely availability of the highest quality of materials, at a cost effective price, and which meet the quality and quantity standards of the user department,while being the first choice for the best vendors within the competition. Assist the HOD/Supervisor/Team Leader with the following inputs B. Basic Responsibilities: Materials Management Direct the budgeting process for all Capital & Operational re quirements. Design policies, systems and procedures on Materials Management that increase theefficiency and improve service levels. Identify and Develop vendors in order to enhance product quality and reduce cost. Contribute to create a work environment that is high in employee morale andprovides constant learning & development and use the feedback from ESS to draw anaction plan. Develop & Implement the annual plan using the TBEM framework, linking the departments objectives to the units overall strategy. Co-ordinate and implement the various export & import policies.C. Operational Responsibilities To issue and monitor Purchase Orders to ensure timely and correct delivery ofMaterials to user Departments Co-ordinate with the Heads of Departments on development of Standard PurchaseSpecifications for various items. Monitor the adherence to the House Rules and regulations with regard to purchasing. Secure competitive price quotations for all purchases. Advise the Executive chef of special availability or pricing of food merchandise forincorporation into Menus or daily specials. Monitor the storage, sanitation and cleanliness standards and in goods receiving areaand storeroom.

    Propose cost saving opportunities by staying informed about new products andtrends in Logistics, Inventory control and Purchasing. Work in association with the Accounts Department in the area of pricing, purchase contracts and payments.Taj Executive Development Programs: 2014 -15 Forecast market conditions and availability of Materials under various economicconditions. Maintain MIS on Price lists, Regular purchases, Supplier information, Purchase orders, Par stocks etc. Ensure documentation of all phases of the purchasing process in a manner that willfacilitate internal and external audit. Ensure adherence to all the statutory requirements/policies related to purchase.

    Develop Departmental Trainers in association with the training department & oversee all the training activities within the department. Identify key Communities, plan various initiatives and co-ordinate the supportactivities.D.     Inventory Management & Budgeting Working knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of Import regulations, Commercial Laws and Tax structures Location of PostingOn completion of the program to any of our hotels located across the country; or at anylocation in India where Taj has a presence.Selection ProcessOur Campus Process starts with a pre-placement talk to share the organizational history,aims and future focus. The selection process consists of group discussion followed by

    preliminary interview and a finalinterview. All levels are elimination rounds.
