Course Scheduling Process
● On Tuesday, March 6th you will complete your course requests with Mrs. J ohannides and Ms. Wynn in Computer Lab 108 during English class.
● There will be several courses already filled in for you--these were placed there by your teachers and cannot be changed without special permission.
Course Scheduling Process
● Students are responsible to return completed course request forms with a parent approval signature.
● NO CHANGES to course requests will be accepted after May 1st, 2018.
● Schedules will be considered complete as of the first day of school, and there will be NO schedule changes without just cause.○ An incomplete or incorrect schedule○ A computer or data entry error○ Need to meet special program

TAHS for a discounted rate, and earning both high school and college credit for that course!○ You can take a Dual Enrollment course for
only Tyrone credit if you choose not to pay for the college credit

minimum GPA requirements--check your course guide!

you will need to take a Penn Highlands placement exam with Ms. Wynn.
● Penn Highlands requires all prospective students apply to PHCC prior to taking the placement exam
● Ms. Wynn will walk you through this process, and confirm for you whether or not you have passed the placement requirements to take the course!
● If you already took DE English Composition 1, you do not have to take the placement exam.
PACE: College in High School● J uniors and Seniors can opt to take
courses on-campus at Penn State Main, Penn State Altoona, or J uniata College if they meet the qualifications.
● Penn State & Penn State Altoona○ Minimum 3.5 GPA, top 25% of class, and
