Today T-Mobile has level as third largest operator in the world after Spanish Telefonica and Vodafone.

History
Present in : Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland,
Slovakia, and the United Kingdom – as well as the United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Merging of two big brands T-Mobile (Deutsche Telecom) and Orange (France Telecom). The new mobile operator has got the name “Everything Everywhere”, later rebranded into
“EE”.

After merging “Everything Everywhere” had 30 million customers. Revenue of the company from customer is $9459bln., and operating income is $2.171bln. EE has approximately 15000
employees currently.

Era wasn’t very sucessful during those days. That acquisition was risky because of difficult rebranding process.

T-mobile is the biggest mobile operator in Poland with 15,049 mln users.
In Customers’ ranking from 2012 based on quality of customer service and customer satisfaction is at the
last place of 4 biggest operator.

T-mobile in USA Merge with Metro PCS Communication
T-Mobile and MetroPCS Communications agreed to merge. They are planning to become one company in 2013.
What?
After merging those two brand customers became about 42.5 million or about 11.7% of the Wireless Market of the US. The new company will continue to use the T-Mobile name and keep MetroPCS as a separate branding that will extend to
new cities, according to fillings with the FCC.

Even if cooperation is fitted to the special condition it's not always very successful.
